Community of Madrid

In 1983, the current autonomous region was established and officially recognized in their statutes of autonomy. La Villa de Madrid was then chosen as the capital of the community.

The province of Madrid and its history has been linked to the capital since this headquarters were established by the Royal Court.  You will discover wonderful places close by the city, all of them with a huge history, monuments and landscapes to explore; the same exceptionally beautiful places that were enjoyed by the Kings of Spain centuries ago

Also you will have the opportunity to visit some Monumental Heritage Cities and the cultural landscape of Madrid: El Escorial, Alcalá de Henares and Aranjuez are included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO.

Well connected to the capital, those places can be visited in 8 hours and to discover a nice region, economic engine of Spain and which attract more and more tourists to know its art, history, landscapes and excellent cuisine.
